Downbeat 101 – Introductory
This course is good for anyone who is keen to pick up the drums without having the need to learn proper notation or music theory. Most importantly, you will get to jam to a song at the end of each lesson!
You will get to learn
No former training is required. Good for 13 years old and above.
Below is an example of a basic groove using images and boxes.

- Fees are billed monthly as per school calendar.
- Fees are collected monthly on the first lesson of the month.
- Fees will be pro-rated if you begin your lesson in the middle of the month.
- Fees paid are non-transferrable or refundable.
- A registration fee (non-refundable) of S$50 and a deposit (refundable) of one month lesson fees will be collected upon registration.
- Holding fee of S$25 will be imposed for students taking hiatus and will be billed in next invoice.
- Deposit will not be released for students opting for suspension/hiatus.
- $25 surcharge (per 30 mins lesson) for classes conducted by our founder Er Chow Kiat.
