Began in 2016, Drum Tutor offers an extensive and engaging drumming programme that caters to both kids and adults through its own curriculum for students across all levels.

Conceptualized by award-winning drummer Er Chow Kiat, the lessons are solely based on the pace of the student’s learning ability whether is it learning a new song, working on grading examination materials or breaking down a certain groove or rhythmic pattern.

Over at Drum Tutor, we pride ourselves as the most exciting drum school here in Singapore. With the help of technology, we are constantly looking for ways to both innovate and create new teaching methods for our students.

Drum Tutor is an official education partner with global renowned contemporary music college, Musicians Institute (USA).

Open Positions:

Music Instructor (Drum)

Job Description:

  • Drum instructor to oversee up to 40 students per week.
  • Prepare students for grading examinations and recitals/performances.
  • Good with kids aged 4 years old and above.
  • Manage overall scheduling, invoice payments and enquiries for branch.
  • Updating of the school’s social media, daily and weekly report.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties required.
  • Hands-on training will be provided.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in any field.
  • Preferably Grade 5-8 in Drums and/or Piano.
  • Passionate in the Music industry.
  • Able to be flexible with schedules and work with deadlines.
  • Experiences involved in the music, drum industry and church worship team is a plus.
  • Completed National Service for Male applicants.
  • 4 or 5 days work week (weekends included) – enquire for more information.
  • Able to work at existing and future new outlet(s).
